The most important time of day for your health.

“How you start your day is how you live your day.”

Your morning is the most important part of your day. It is truly the foundation for how you live your life before all the craziness begins.

Most of us wake up quickly, grab our phones to check email or Facebook then speed through the day because we have so much to do. There’s likely some coffee involved, maybe a quick shower, and then it’s go-mode!

Many of us will skip breakfast. Many of us won’t even think about paying attention to how our bodies or our minds are feeling that day.

Starting your day like this is burning you out and making you sick and tired.

Your morning ritual can be just a few minutes if that’s the time you have.  Whether it’s 3 minutes, 10 minutes or 30 minutes…can you choose a small practice to commit yourself to for 40 days? We like to practice something for 40 days because it takes 40 days to change a habit and help break any old negative habits.

  1. I have been very consistent with my meditation practice which is great, but I would like to add no technology to the mix in the until after my workout. I typically meditate then browse emails for 20 minutes before I work out. Sometimes I get sucked in and wind up splitting my workout half am half pm – not a fan. I know there is nothing on there that is life altering so starting in the am I will give it a go!
